AACD- American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry -  This organization is the largest of its kind in the world with over 6000 members, they have varying levels of membership and accreditation.  Member is the entry level status with the AACD then you move up to Sustaining, Accredited and Fellow.  For more information about these different levels ask you local AACD member.

LVI - Las Vegas Insitute for Advanced Dental Studies - This is a very high profile and well known cosmetic dental education facility that trains dentists on the various aspects of cosmetic dentistry.  They are commonly referred to as LVI docs,  however just like the AACD there are different levels of involvement.  Some attend CE courses regularly and other take one and call themselves an LVI doc, its always best to contact the organization for further clarification.
